This sculpture poignantly portrays the burden of depression on an individual's psyche. While the overall personality may have undergone a transformation, the subtle detail of the fingertips reveals a lingering presence of the original self, reaching out and silently pleading for help.

The central core of the brain incorporates a combination of round bar, chain, and metal, skillfully welded together using silicon bronze.

The fingers are crafted from a blend of serrated steel, metal components, and a remarkable array of ten distinct wood types, including red oak, orange sage, canary wood, yellow heart, patagonian rosewood, movingui, black limba, walnut, bloodwood/satinwood, and purple heart. The accompanying table is fashioned from cypress wood and adorned with exquisite yellow heartwood butterfly accents. 

It stands elegantly on an aluminum base, completing the artistic ensemble.
